SEEDAMERICA ANNOUNCES MURRAY CORPORATION PROPERTY TRANSFER
ALPHARETTA, Georgia, (October 22, 2007) – SeedAmerica president Joseph Johnson today announced transfer of a property owned by Murray Corporation through the 561 Exchange. The newly-transferred 200,000 square foot property is located in Palestine, TX. The Murray Corporation, a staple in the Palestine community for over 30 years, ended their engine and automotive component operation, leaving the building vacant for several years.
Murray Corporation, founded over 90 years ago, designs and manufactures fasteners and clamps for hose and pipe applications in the worldwide agricultural, automotive, truck, off highway, municipal, marine, irrigation, beverage and plumbing markets. Transfer of this property will contribute to community development and revitalization efforts, key to maintaining strong economic stability in the community.
