PEDC officially opened its new 352-Acre Business Park on May 4, 2005, with a Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. David Barnard, President of the PEDC, made major announcements of new jobs and businesses that will be locating in the new Willow Creek Business Park.

This business park is a major development undertaken by the citizens of Palestine and Anderson county to attract new businesses to Palestine and East Texas. The park is ideally located between Dallas, Houston, Austin and Shreveport.  The natural beauty of the rolling East Texas hills is evident in every location through out the park. Amenities include concrete curb and gutter streets complete with utilities and landscaping.

The park is located on South Loop 256 at Gillespie Road in Palestine. The park's new occupants are Capgemini Energy, Atmos Energy, and Willow Creek Office Suites.  New facility construction has begun and the new businesses are now taking applications for the many new jobs being created in Palestine.
