In Palestine, we are fortunate to have a Go Texan Certified retirement community. We are one of the oldest, historic cities in East Texas and a truly beautiful place to live. We have incredible amenities and our railroad is in many movies! Still, seniors need to know that they are moving to a community that is going to be a really great place to live and retire. Fortunately, this is a lot easier with the Go Texan certification. To become a certified community, there is a rigorous application process that considers things like a high quality of life, good health care, entertainment, education, safety, and even volunteer opportunities. Palestine has all these things and more.
