Advanced Manufacturing
Palestine, Texas, and Anderson County offer manufacturers access to a regional workforce, established industrial operations, and workforce development resources to support modern manufacturing. From equipment assembly to specialized chemical production and automated processes, the region has an established foundation for companies seeking to locate, expand, or strengthen their operations.
An Established Manufacturing Base
Manufacturing and industrial operations are an important part of the local economy. LS Tractor USA operates in Palestine, assembling tractors and agricultural equipment for distribution. Verdant Specialty Solutions also operates a manufacturing facility in Palestine, producing specialty surfactants and providing custom chemical processing capabilities. These businesses demonstrate the range of industrial operations represented in the local economy.
Workforce Development for Modern Industry
As manufacturing processes evolve, access to technical skills and automation training becomes increasingly important. Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) offers automation and controls training at its Palestine campus, helping prepare workers for the technical demands of modern industrial operations.
Through collaboration among education, workforce, and economic development partners, local employers can explore resources to support workforce training and skills development aligned with their operational needs.
