Texas State Railroad Gears Up for Polar Express

The Texas State Railroad located at 789 Park Road 70, Palestine, Texas, will begin service to the North Pole aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS starting on Saturday, November 11 and run through Saturday December 27, 2017.  Your child’s magical story comes to life the minute the train departs the Palestine Depot for the train ride to the North Pole.  

The departure times for your special round trip, one hour train ride are 3:30 pm, 5 pm, 6:30 pm and 8pm.  Pajamas for children of all ages are encouraged and hot chocolate and cookies are served aboard the train.  All ticketing requires an even number of tickets to be purchased.  You can book the exclusive Presidential Car that seats a total of 24, or First Class seating for parties of four, or Coach tickets with large viewing windows and Pullman-style seating.  

Phone lines for ticket purchases are open from 8am to 5pm CT and number is 855-632-7729.  Be sure to purchase a book along with your tickets so your child can read her/his own book, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.  Get ready for a Santa sighting too and remember the whole family is encouraged to wear their pajamas!
