Grinch’s Lair at the Historic Anderson County Jail

Local officials have arrested The Grinch and are holding him at the Historic Anderson County Jail. Visit your favorite holiday grump as he hands out gifts to make sure everyone in Palestine gets to celebrate Christmas. You can visit his loyal dog, Max, too.

The Grinch’s Lair is $15.00 per person and runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 18 through December 23. 

A Walk Through Bethlehem in Palestine, Texas

Reflect on the reason for the season at Montalba Baptist Church with guided tours through the streets of Bethlehem – including a hayride that starts at the gates. Live animals and local vendors will be present. A Walk Through Bethlehem runs December 8, 9, and 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  

Miracle on 34th Street

The Texas Theatre, home of Palestine Community Theatre, is bringing this classic Christmas story to the stage from December 15 through 17. Buy tickets in advance for the 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday or for the 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. See your favorite actors, friends, and neighbors take the stage and spread holiday cheer.
