YMCA Alex Patel Soccer Complex Now Open

Palestine, TX now has a new soccer complex. After years of careful planning and fundraising, the YMCA Alex Patel Soccer Complex is open for games and ready for action. Children have already been enjoying the fields, with games and competitions heating up. From little five year olds to advanced players, these fields have been full of weekend competitions and weekday practices. “It's thrilling. It's a chance of a lifetime. It's a legacy for Palestine,” said YMCA CEO Cindy Piersol. “We're excited for the opportunities this affords our community.”

Mr. Alex Patel, a hotelier in the city, donated $200,000 for the project and his generosity, along with the generosity of other contributors and volunteers, has helped to make this project possible. We encourage you to stop by, watch a game, and cheer on your favorite soccer player.
